Undergraduate teaching assistant for General Biology for Majors, Cell & Molecular Biology for Majors, Cell & Molecular Biology for Scieneering students, Zip-Line to Success for transfer students (First year experience course for College of Science students transferring to Virginia Tech from a community college, college, or university) I have experience in teaching courses that focused on study skills, writing and communication skills, research skills, in addition to general biology and cell and molecular biology but I am comfortable teaching/tutoring a variety of subjects. Additionally, I have experience in assisting students with ADHD/ADD learn behavioral management techniques to manage their ADHD/ADD urges and increase their success both in and out of the classroom. Lastly, I have experience with children with autism.

Hobbies
I am an avid reader and I love to be outside, weather permitting. I love to fish and take my dogs to the park. After graduating with my undergraduate degree a semester early, I immediately pursued my MaEd and currently my PhD. I haven't had a lot of extra time in the last few years but when I do have time I spend it with my husband and two wonderful dogs.
